Strange disease broke out in Nigeria

The Vietnam News Agency correspondent in Africa, citing local sources, said that a strange disease broke out in Kaduna state in northwestern Nigeria.

Specifically, a strange disease appeared in Kafanchan town of Kaduna state and Kafanchan general hospital is treating 10 people suspected of being infected. The hospital had to set up a temporary isolation area for these cases and collect samples for testing.

Most of the patients admitted to the hospital were children aged 3-13 years, with symptoms such as sore throat, headache, fever, difficulty swallowing, shortness of breath, and many other symptoms. Kaduna state epidemiologists are on their way to the town of Kafanchan to determine the cause of the outbreak and its spread.
Meanwhile, local officials urged residents of Kafanchan to be vigilant and take measures to prevent the disease from spreading. Many schools have had to close while waiting for the conclusion of the medical investigation.
